Redmond Sponsors Heart Of The Community Golf Tournament

On Thursday, October 23, 2008, Redmond Regional Medical Center will once again sponsor the fourth annual Heart of the Community Golf Tournament. The tournament will be held at Stonebridge Golf Course in Rome and will begin with a boxed lunch at 11:00am and a shotgun start at 12:00 noon.

The community is invited to participate in the tournament as a sponsor or as a player. Support of Redmond’s efforts is crucial to both the success of the event and its ability to fund future endeavors of the Heart of the Community Foundation.

Corporate sponsorships are $500 and receive special acknowledgement at the tournament in addition to signage at the event and team participation. Individual players may sign up in teams of four for $60 fee per person. Participation will enhance the efforts of the Heart of the Community Foundation and its events throughout the year.

The proceeds from this year’s event are being used to distribute additional AED units around the community and assist in funding the operations Heart of the Community Guest House. The Heart of the Community Guest House is a facility, located on the Redmond campus, which provides temporary housing to out-of-town family members of seriously ill or long-term care patients at Redmond free of charge.
