Planning Commission Gives Ok To Special Use Permit For Unity Christian School

The Rome Floyd Planning Commission has recommended a special use permit be issued for the development of a new Unity Christian School campus off Wilbanks Rd. on the east side of Rome.

The issue will now go to the Floyd County Commission for final approval.

The Planning body, acting in front of a huge throng of citizens from Lindale, also voted to recommend a special use permit for continued use of the old Lindale Waste Water facility as the site for disposal of material from a porta-potty business.
