Town Hall Meeting Discusses Children’s Issues
The need for a one stop shop for adults to assist children in Rome may have been dramatically evidenced during a Town Hall meeting to discuss children’s issues in Rome Tuesday night.
Floyd Juvenile Judge Timm Pape told the three dozen or so in attendance that Rome enjoys a reputation around the state for being out in front of children’s issues.
Grandparents rights and mental health issues were top issues for several citizens at the session and State Rep. Katie Dempsey promised a follow up session next month.
