Model High Awarded Governor’s Cup
Model High students hooped and hollered this morning as Governor Sonny Perdue presented Principal Glenn White with the Governors Cup, proclaiming Model as State Academic champs in Class AA.
Governor Sonny Perdue presented Model Principal Glenn White the mammoth trophy and a check for $2,000.
State Rep. Kathy Cox was also on hand for the presentation. She said that Model had made significant strides in the all important science portion of the test and had significantly enhanced it’s graduation rate.
