School officials will not say if Taylor’s termination has anything to do with the two teachers released earlier this week for “inappropriate relationships” with students.

Police have confirmed that Matthew Blanton and Daniel Brown were arrested this evening and charged with sexual assault.

The warrant for Blanton’s arrest states that he had a relationship with the girl beteen Oct. 1 and Nov. 17 of this year. It also claims Blanton kissed and fondled the girl.

Brown’s warrant states that he had a sexual relationship with the girl between the dates of Aug. 1 and Nov. 17 of this year.

According to police, video evidence exists of Blanton and the student, but they have not yet released what the video shows. However, sources tell RomeNewswire that is shows Blanton and the girl engaging in “inappropriate” activity in the classroom.

Officials did confirm the teachers were involved with separate students.
