Rome Man Arrested For Meth

A north Rome resident was charged with possession of methamphetamines with the intent to distribute late Wednesday night.

55 year old Donnie Seaborn Baker was at his home on Calhoun Avenue when deputies showed up to serve an arrest warrant on an undisclosed person and discovered that the home was chock full of methamphetamines packaged and ready for sale.

Baker is being detained at the Floyd County jail pending a bond hearing.
