More Details Released In Infants Death

Details concerning the late Friday afternoon murder charges against Shamekia Shantell Byars And Mike Reggie Hanes have been released this afternoon.

In a story you saw first here on RomeNewswire.com, Byars and Haynes were arrested last Friday and charged with murder in the death of the infant Sha’Niya Moses.

Prosecutors say Byars And Haynes are responsibility for the death of Sha’Niya L. Moses, by physically abusing the infant causing severe head and brain injuries.

The baby died on the 5th of November in 2005.

The 25 yr old Byars was the infants mother while Haynes is her live in boyfriend.

Both are also charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery and cruelty to children.
