Roman Arrested in Alabama Drug Raid
A Rome man was among three people arrested on drug charges in Cherokee County Alabama.
The Cherokee County narcotics unit with assistance from Alabama State Troopers went to a home in the Ellisville community, where Marvin L. Blackburn, of Rome and Marilyn Wright of Ellisville, were taken into custody.
Sometime later Clifford A. Wright, the homeowner, was also arrested.
Both Wright’s face charges of unlawful distribution of crack cocaine while Blackburn was charged with possession of marijuana and obstruction.
Agents did not disclose whether or not any drugs were actually seized at the home.
