Superintendent Gets Contract Extension, More Vacation Days, Larger Expense Account

By RomeNewswire • on June 3, 2009

The Floyd County Board of Education has extended by another year the contract of Superintendent Dr. Lynn Plunkett.

The extension contains no raise in salary, but the board increased the number of vacation days from 15 to 20 and upped the superintendent’s expense account from $850 to $1,000 a month.

In other action, the board approved a number of personnel changes. Among them, the retirement of Johnson Principal Dr. George Brombacher, which goes into effect in October.
