Traffic Tickets Can Now Be Paid Online

Judge Steve Burkhalter announced today that the Probate Court is now using ezcourtpay.com, an online Web site where Floyd County citizens can search for and pay their traffic tickets by credit card. The Web site may also be accessed by telephone at 1-800-262-0128.

Security and privacy were huge concerns for the Court, and all the necessary protocols and precautions are employed to ensure that all sensitive information remains private and encrypted. The system was carefully designed to prevent any unauthorized access and to ease the burden on citizens.

Judge Burkhalter is also pleased to announce that the website, support, and maintenance is provided at no cost to the county thanks to a partnership with Criminal Justice Technologies, the Court’s case management software vendor and eZCourtPay LLC.

By making this service available, Probate Court is addressing the ever increasing need and demand from the public who wish to pay online or over the phone, using a debit or credit card. This will also aid in the efficiency and productivity of the Court.
