Motorcycle Ride Benefits Meth Awareness
Members of a local church teamed together Saturday Morning to bring awareness and raise money against methamphetamines.
The Dice Run style motorcycle ride was hosted by the Church at Northside. The ride, in which around 10 motorcycles participated, began at 9:00 AM at the church and went 60 miles through Summerville, Coosa, and Cave Spring. When bikers returned, they were treated to BBQ plates and a free concert featuring several local Christian groups. A few awards were also given to the riders such as the oldest and the best cruiser.
Funds raised from the ride went towards the Meth Free Project, a group based out of Armuchee who helps prevent the use of meth and also helps users recover from addiction. For more information, you can visit MethFreeProject.com
