Adams Named Director of the Floyd Healthcare Foundation
Lauren Adams has been named the director of the Floyd Healthcare Foundation.
In this role, Adams will be responsible for managing fundraising activities, promoting community awareness and gaining financial support for Floyd Medical Center and its affiliates.
A Floyd employee for nearly eight years, Adams earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Methodist University, Fayetteville, N.C. She also has completed certification in the Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge program. In addition, Adams is a graduate of the Leadership Calhoun-Gordon County program and has completed training in Development Dimensions International, a Floyd Leadership Development course.
Prior to joining Floyd, Adams served as the executive director of Gordon Hospital Foundation in Calhoun. A member of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, Adams currently serves as the secretary for the Georgia Association of Development Professionals, an affiliate of the Georgia Hospital Association.
She and her husband, Joe, have three sons, John, Justin and Logan. They reside in Rome and attend Garden Lakes Baptist Church.
