1-Vehicle Wreck On Donahoo Road Injures 1
A one-vehicle wreck on Donahoo Road at the intersection of Highway 101 in Silver Creek resulted in minor injuries to the older male driver.
According to witnesses, the driver was veering from one side of the road to another in his late model Chevy Colorado before making the turn onto Donahoo Road where he crashed into a ditch and hit a concrete driveway hit on. A woman living at the apartments there said the she had watched the truck strike several mailboxes before trying to make the turn onto Donahoo.
“He never even slowed down and ran right into the ditch,” she said.
The driver told the witness and another driver who stopped to check on him that his blood sugar was very low and he was trying to make it to a store to get something to eat.
The driver was loaded onto a stretcher and treated for minor injuries.
