History Musueum Hosting Kids’ Workshop
The Rome Area History Museum is hosting a one-day workshop for rising 4th-6th graders that will investigate the history of Coca-Cola, from its creation in a brass pot by former Rome resident, John Pemberton, to its status as a multi-billion dollar company.
The Small Beginnings workshop is planned for Wednesday, July 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Games, guests, and other activities help teach kids about history, entrepreneurship and simple economics in a fun and relaxed environment. Snacks will be provided, but children should bring a lunch.
