Arrest Report: Thursday, Oct. 22

According to police and Floyd County Jail records, the following people were arrested recently by local authorities and charged with at least one felony crime:

Tiffany Necole Anguilar, 22, of 5302 Cedartown Hwy. in Rome, was arrested Wednesday night by the Rome/Floyd Metro Drug Task Force and charged with one felony count each of possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and second degree cruelty to children. During the execution of a warrant at the Cedartown Highway address, Anguilar was in possession of methamphetamine intended for distribution and digital scales. She remained in jail Thursday morning.

Teresa Wynette Allen, 40, of 608-A West 10th St. in rome, was arrested Wednesday night by the Rome/Floyd Metro Drug Task Force and charged with felony counts of possession of Endocet (a schedule two narcotic) and second degree forgery, along with misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine. During the execution of a warrant at the address, Allen was in possession of methamphetamine and Endocet along with seven checks and documents used for forgery. She remained in jail Thursday morning.

Walter Lee Hamby, 35, of 7496 New Calhoun Rd. in Adairsville, was arrested Wednesday morning by the Rome Probation Office and charged with a felon probation violation. He remained in jail Thursday morning.

Dewel Wayne Hammitt Jr., 36, of 5302 Cedartown Hwy. in Rome, was arrested Wednesday night by the Rome/Floyd Metro Drug Task Force and charge with felony counts of possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and second degree cruelty to children. During an execution of a warrant at the address, Hammitt was in possession of methamphetamine and scales. He remained in jail Thursday morning.

Michael Lydell Johnson, 34, of 229 Moran Lake Rd. in Rome, was arrested Wednesday afternoon by the Rome Police Department and charged with felony possession of cocaine. He remained in jail Thursday morning.

Sean Michael Loveless, 27, of 413 Radio Springs Rd. in Rome, was arrested Wednesday night by the Rome/Floyd Metro Drug Task Force and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine. He remained in jail Thursday morning.

Karen Hope Parr, 23, of 32 Lynn Dr. in Rome, was arrested Wednesday afternoon by the Rome Probation Office and charged with a felony probation violation. Parr admitted to methamphetamine use two days prior to the arrest date. She remained in jail Thursday morning.

Bronson Maurice Payne, 47, of 1871 Plaza Lane in Atlanta, was arrested Wednesday afternoon by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and charged with a felony probation violation. He remained in jail Thursday morning.

Justin Lee Watkins, 25, of 1208 N. Broad St. in Rome, was arrested Wednesday evening by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and charge with two felony counts of burglary. Watkins allegedly illegally entered Downtown Mr. Brown Real Southern BBQ on Broad Street on Oct. 4 and took a laptop computer valued at $800 along with three blank checks. Watkins then returned to the establishment on Oct. 15 and again entered illegally. During his second unlawful entry, Watkins took another laptop computer valued at $900, software and other computer-related items valued at $975 and $175 in cash. He remained in jail Thursday morning.

Tonya Gail Watson, 38, of 20 Kings Bridge Rd. in Cave Spring, was arrested Wednesday afternoon by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and charged with two felony probation violations. Original charges include possession of methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. She remained in jail Thursday morning.
