Arrest Report: Friday, Nov. 6

According to police and Floyd County Jail records, the following people were arrested recently by local authorities and charged with at least one felony crime:

Drake Montego Arnold, 23, of 203 N. Elm St. in Rome, was arrested Thursday afternoon by the Rome Probation Office and charged with one felony count each of obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers, aggravated assault on a police officer and a probation violation. He remained in jail Friday morning.

Evan Ross Atkison, 20, of 2053 Little Texas Valley Rd. in Rome, was arrested Thursday morning by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office on two felony court orders. The first court order included charges for possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. The second court order included charges for possession of more than one ounce of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He remained in jail Friday morning.

Cornelius Antonio Brown, 27, of 68 Dogwood in Aragon, was arrested Thursday afternoon by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and charged with a felony probation violation (original charge included aggravated assault). He remained in jail Friday morning.

Robert Charles Clifton, 54, of 120 East 13th St. in Rome, was arrested Friday morning by the Rome Probation Office and charged with a felony probation violation. He remained in jail Friday morning.

Raymond Timothy Crane, 46, of 2327 Young Rd. in Stone Mountain, was arrested Thursday afternoon by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and charged with two felony probation violations. He remained in jail Friday morning.

Leroy James Jr., 49, of 1900-B Flannery St. in Rome, was arrested Thursday evening by the Rome-Floyd Metro Drug Task Force and charged with felony possession of more than an ounce of marijuana, felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and a probation violation. He remained in jail Friday morning.

Jason Lee Mull, 34, of 111 Plymouth Dr. in Rome, was arrested early Friday morning by the Rome Police Department and charged with felony terroristic threats and acts and misdemeanor drunk and disorderly. He remained in jail Friday morning.

Stacy Rainey Smith, 53, of 214 E. 14th St. in Rome, was arrested Thursday morning by the Rome Probation Office and charged with a felony probation violation. He remained in jail Friday morning.

Dustin Wayne Womack, 20, of 209 Avenue D in Lindale, was arrested Friday morning by the Floyd County Police Department and charged with one felony count each of second degree cruelty to children, terroristic threats and acts and battery along with one misdemeanor count each of obstructing an emergency telephone call and criminal trespass. He remained in jail Friday morning.
