According to police and Floyd County Jail records, the following people were arrested recently by local authorities. All should be consider innocent until proven otherwise. Listed are those booked into Floyd County Jail. (These arrests exclude felonious arrested individuals still incarcerated and DUI-related arrests. Those can be found in Rome Newswire’s other two daily arrest reports.):

Dedria Constance Aken, 27, of 12 Springdale Dr. NW in Rome, was arrested Friday evening by the Rome Police Department and charged with a misdemeanor probation violation. She remained in jail Saturday morning.

Anthony James Brown, 36, of 88 Spor Springs Rd. in Rome, was arrested early Saturday morning by the Floyd County Police Department and charged with misdemeanor trespass. He remained in jail Saturday morning.

William Lee Davis, 4283 N. Marble Top Rd. in Chickamauga, was arrested early Saturday morning by the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office and placed on a hold for the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office. He remained in jail Saturday morning.

Kenneth Lamar Godfrey, 59, of 5569 Foster Mill Rd. in Cave Spring, was arrested Friday afternoon by the Floyd County Police Department and charged with aggravated assault. He was booked and released from jail by Saturday morning.

Timothy Ben Hairston, 23, of 905 N. Tennessee St. in Cartersville, was arrested Friday afternoon by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and charged with a misdemeanor probation violation and a hold for the Dade County Sheriff’s Office. He remained in jail Saturday morning.

Erin Ashley Horovitz, 26, of 125 Turkey Mountain Rd. in Armuchee, was arrested Friday evening by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office on a court order for misdemeanor theft by shoplifting. She remained in jail Saturday morning.

Danny Johnson, 49, of 120 Lewis Barrett Blvd. in Rome, was arrested Friday morning by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and charged with two county of misdemeanor child support. He remained in jail Saturday morning.

Linda Ann Kelley, 58, of 4002 Cave Spring Rd. SW in Rome, was arrested Friday afternoon by the Rome Police Department and charged with theft by shoplifting. She was booked and released from jail by Saturday morning.

Anthony Lopez, 39, of 385 Wilshire Rd. in Rome, was arrested late Thursday night by the Rome Police Department and charged with no license and speeding (65 mph in a 45 mph zone). He was booked and released from jail by Saturday morning.

April Dawn Mashburn, 31, of 78 Highpoint Court in Silver Creek, was arrested Friday night by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. She was booked and released from jail by Saturday morning.

Brandon Wayne McDrelles, 17, of 1 Lee St. in Cave Spring, was arrested Friday by the Rome Police Department and charged with theft by shoplifting. He was booked and released from jail by Saturday morning.

Jordan Brianne Nieghbors, 18, of 407-A Leafmore Rd. in Rome, was arrested Friday night by the Rome Police Department and charged with forgery in the first degree. She was booked and released from jail by Saturday morning.

Logan John Owens, 18, of 23 Mathis Rd. NE in Rome, was arrested Friday night by the Georgia State Patrol and charged with speeding (95 mph in a 55 mph zone). He was booked and released from jail by Saturday morning.

John David Pena, 113 Simpson Dr. in Rome, was arrested Friday afternoon by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office on a court order for charges of possession of Oxycodone and drugs not in original container. He was booked and released from jail by Saturday morning.  

Benjamin Franklin Pension, 39, of 312 Woodbine Ave. in Rome, was arrested Friday afternoon by the Floyd County Police Department and charged with misdemeanor obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers and a probation hold. He remained in jail Saturday morning.

Lacey Hope Robinson, 27, of 103 Betty Kay Ave. in Rome, was arrested Friday by the Rome Police Department and charged with stalking under the Family Violence Act. She was booked and released from jail by Saturday morning.

Roy Collin Robinson, 47, of 221 Cave Spring St. in Rome, was arrested Friday night by the Rome Police Department and charged with misdemeanor public drunkenness. He remained in jail Saturday morning.

Ester Melinese Tate, 41, of 402 Pennington Ave. in Rome, was arrested Friday night by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and charged with theft by deception. She was booked and released from jail by Saturday morning.

Dustin Wayne Womack, 20, of 209 Avenue D in Lindale, was arrested Friday morning by the Floyd County Police Department and charged with second degree cruelty to children, terroristic threats and acts, battery and criminal trespass. He was booked and released from jail by Saturday morning.
