According to police and Floyd County Jail records, the following people were arrested recently by local authorities. All should be consider innocent until proven otherwise. Listed are those booked into Floyd County Jail. (These arrests exclude felonious arrested individuals still incarcerated and DUI-related arrests. Those can be found in Rome Newswire’s other two Daily Arrest Reports.):
Richard Oneal Cooper, 47, of 144 Danny Circle in Calhoun, was arrested at 9:15 p.m. Sunday night by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and charged with a misdemeanor probation violation. He remained in jail Monday morning.
Scott Lemon Henderson, 17, of 350 Acorn Rd. in Rome, was arrested at 8:30 p.m. Sunday night by the Rome Police Department and charged with theft by shoplifting. He was booked and released from jail by Monday morning.
Luis Alberto Tzarax Ixcoy, 24, of 7 Walter St. in Rome, was arrested just after midnight early Sunday morning and charged with city drunk. He was booked and released from jail by Monday morning.
Larry Ray Lemming, 61, of 405 Reeceburg Rd. in Silver Creek, was arrested at 4:43 p.m. Sunday afternoon by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and charged with failure to appear on charges of suspended license. He was booked and released from jail by Monday morning.
Dorothy Christy Mendez, 39, of 419 Sycamore St. in Rome, was arrested at 4:45 p.m. Sunday afternoon by the Rome Police Department and charged with theft by shoplifting. She was booked and released from jail by Monday morning.
Cortex Clifford Richardson, 44, of 25 Elliott Circle in Rome, was arrested at 2:40 a.m. Sunday morning by the Rome Police Department and charged with driving while license is susupended and running a red light. He was booked and released from jail by Monday morning.
James Ellis Parker, 41, of 640 Warren Rd., Apt. 14, in Rome, was arrested at 1:45 p.m. Sunday afternoon by the Floyd County Police Department and charged with one misdemeanor count each of simple battery, cruelty to children in the third degree and hindering a 911 phone call. He remained in jail Monday morning.
Scott Kelvin Roper, 38, of 215 E. Girard Ave. in Cedartown, was arrested at 10:45 p.m. Sunday night by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and charged with child support. He remained in jail Monday morning.
Victor Artemio Calmo Sales, 22, of 25 Shadetree Lane in Rome, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Sunday evening by the Rome Police Department and charged with suspended registration, failure to yield, and license required-surrender of license. He was booked and released from jail by Monday morning.
Luis Antonio Segura, 19, of 501 Line St. in Cedartown, was arrested at 11:40 a.m. Sunday morning by the Floyd County Police Department and charged with license required-surrender of license. He was booked and released from jail by Monday morning.
