DUI Report: Thursday, Dec. 31
According to police and Floyd County Jail records, the following people were arrested recently by local authorities and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:
Jose Perez Lopez, 22, of 312 Woodward St. in Rome, was arrested at 12:05 a.m. Thursday by the Rome Police Department and was charged with driving under the influence, no license, open container, improper lane change, and safety belts. He remained in jail Thursday morning.
Johnathan Lee Parris, 20, of 1319 McKibben St. in Cedartown, was arrested at 2:45 a.m. Wednesday by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and was charged with driving under the influence, no proof of insurance, underage possession of alcohol, no tail lights, and removing or affixing license plate. He was booked and released from jail by Thursday morning.
