The Rome Floyd Development Authority and Floyd County Development Authority have agreed to reduce the payscale target for companies seeking to locate in Rome.
Chamber Economic Development Specialist Heather Seckman says that companies, to qualify for tax breaks will have to agree to start employees at 10.50, rather than 175% of minimum wage.
