The Department of Transportation and workers from the city of Rome’s Electrical department are retiming the traffic signal at the intersection of Broad Street and Second Avenue.
As reported here first one week ago, the installation of a new signal caused the light to snarl traffic in both directions on Second Avenue.

Traffic along Turner McCall Blvd was backed up to Cooper Drive due to contractors making repairs on the Bridge near Home Depot.
Traffic cleared near Broad Street but quickly slowed again near Riverside Parkway due to paving by the Department of Transportation.
